Someone in our family hasn't quite adapted back to snowy winters. He got carried home inside my husband's jacket. He only made it down 2 houses on his walk.

Forgot buns at the store and I wasn't going out in the bitter cold. The result was these delicious dough wrapped hot dogs served with a side of hot and spicy potato salad. Freaking delicious. I may forget the buns on purpose next time!

Happy Friday! I love making homemade pizza with the toppings hidden under the cheese. This pizza had buffalo chicken, lots of onion, and peppers on top.

I couldn't resist and took a bite before taking the photo. This is a carrot cake recipe I've been developing. It's not perfect, but getting closer!

This entire dinner was made in about 40 minutes from defrosting the chicken to pulling it out of the oven. It was quick, easy, and damn delicious. What are you having for dinner?

Over the summer, I canned up a Creole recipe from Ball. Tonight, I enjoy a delicious meal that tastes summer fresh. The perks of being a homecanner.
