Do you like peanut butter and jelly? Ever had it with strawberry pepper jelly? Well you will need to make this recipe just to try it. Here are our recipes for strawberry pepper jelly and regular pepper jelly.
RECIPE: Strawberry Pepper Jelly
Makes 12 4 oz jars, 12 half pints, 2 pints
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Cutting Board
Knife
Spatula
Potato Masher
Ladle
Pot
Canner and Supplies
Food Processor
INGREDIENTS:
8 Lbs Strawberries
10 Cups Sugar
Jalapenos
Pectin
Lemon Juice
DIRECTIONS:
1) Cut the tops off of the jalapenos and toss them into the food processor. Process into tiny pieces.
2) In a pot, smash strawberries with the potatoes masher bit by bit. Stir in the 10 cups of sugar and a heavy dash of lemon juice.
3) Stir in the jalapenos and bring to a boil and let thicken.
4) Remove from heat, pour in pectin, stir, and bring to a boil for another minute or two.
5) Ladle into jars and process in a water for 12 minutes.
RECIPE: Pepper Jelly
Makes 13 Four oz Jars

INGREDIENTS:
3/4 Lb Jalapenos
1 Cup Vinegar
6 Cups Sugar
1 Green Pepper
Pectin
DIRECTIONS:
1) Cut the tops off of the jalapenos and green pepper. Toss them into the food processor. Process into little chunks.
2) In a pot, mix together the vinegar and sugar.
3) Stir in the jalapenos and bring to a boil and let thicken.
4) Remove from heat, pour in pectin, stir, and bring to a boil for another minute..
5) Ladle into 4 oz jars and process for 12 minutes.
